Luxury Loo Joins Sperry Tents Marion

Sperry Tents Marion, which provides Sperry Tents and outdoor event equipment throughout Southern New England, has purchased Luxury Loo and is now the exclusive provider of its trademark restroom trailers.

Since its start in 2009, Luxury Loo has represented the ultimate in portable restroom design. Mimicking the look and feel of luxe resort restrooms inside and a quaint New England cottage outside, Luxury Loo delivers an experience that is on par with the poshest affairs.

“Purchasing Luxury Loo made sense for us,” explained Sperry Tents CEO Tim Sperry. “Owners Michelle and William Huggins are old friends. It didn’t take me long to realize that their product and brand fit perfectly with what we do here already at Sperry Tents, which is produce seamless and elegant outdoor occasions.”

The connection between Sperry Tents and Luxury Loo dates back to Sperry’s own wedding, held in the English countryside. When the Hugginses attended, they noted the restroom trailer, which, at the time, was uncommon back in the U.S. except at very high-end events. They were impressed and started dreaming up the Luxury Loo concept—and a business idea was born.

As a contractor, William Huggins took a bare bones restroom trailer and turned it into a luxury New England cottage, with onion lamps, windows, and flower boxes to complete the look. Inside, guests are treated to electric toilets, fully enclosed stalls, porcelain vessel sinks, hands-free faucets, granite and marble vanities, wainscoted walls and crown molding, plus an iPod sound system.

Optional add-on amenities include twinkle lights on the exterior, customized toiletries for the vanity and medicine cabinets, picket signage, bench seating, and floral and landscaping packages.
