You had us at burrito truck. College sweethearts Tom and Karyn infused their May 30, 2015 wedding with plenty of personal touches and favorite things. The officiant was the groom’s best friend’s father, a close friend sang them down the aisle after the vows, the navy-and-gold place cards were handmade by the bride’s mom, and favorite foods such as the aforementioned burritos and Door County cherry pie were served.
The couple decided to wed in Door County, Wisconsin, where Tom grew up, and chose a waterfront ceremony and tented reception at the Horseshoe Bay Golf Club in Egg Harbor for the scenic lake views. A classic combination of navy, blush, and white appeared throughout the day, including navy suits with pink ties for the guys and flowy pink dresses for the bridesmaids. Peonies, roses, and hydrangeas complemented the springtime atmosphere and the bride added a bit of sparkle into the mix with her gown and shoes.
Guests danced on pine flooring late into the evening beneath the generously sized 66′ x 106′ Sperry Tent adorned with bistro lights.
