Brunch-Time Wedding with Beauty Bar in Colombia

Colombia is typically considered a tropical paradise, but it is much more than just beaches and crystal-clear waters. It encounters every habitat and climate zone imaginable, from lush rainforests to deserts. La Sabana de Bogotá is among the country’s thousands of paradises, offering not only mild weather and beautiful nature but also ancient architecture that transports visitors back to the times of Spanish colonization. And it’s where our Latin America provider and tent rental company Vento Tents worked hand-in-hand with planner María Clara Carreño to create this memorable wedding event.

Set in the forest near a rustic hacienda, this wedding had a variety of surprises in store for guests. For starters, women had their own personal attraction: a beauty bar, where they could spice up and retouch their makeup, based out of a vintage van near the tents. There was also a photo booth, allowing guests to capture their own significant moments with creativity. And as a closure to an incredible evening, each guest received a seedling, symbolic of the new beginnings yet to come, as well as a personal postcard filled with gratefulness and love.
